What to TELL? What to SAY?

According to Collins Dictionary, a “bond between people is a strong feeling of

friendship, love, or shared beliefs and experiences that unites them.” It also says that “when people bond with each other, they form a relationship based on love or shared beliefs and experiences.”

A bond is truly a unique thing that cannot be easily explained in words. Bonds can be formed between family members, forged between friends, or created through certain circumstances. We each share different bonds with different individuals in our lives. And at FiveTies, we believe that this also means you should be able to decide what information you want to share with certain people, depending on the kind of relationships you have.

With the choice of leaving your final message in the form of written notes, voice notes, photos, or video, FiveTies provides you with the perfect platform for you to “tie up loose ends” and guide your loved ones after your departure.

Here are some examples of the types of information you might like to share with those you trust the most:

  • How do you want your funeral to be carried out?
  • How do you want to handle your social media accounts?
  • What plans do you have for your physical and digital assets?
  • Are there any documents, such as a will, insurance policies, retirement funds, that they need to be aware about?
  • Are you an organ donor?
  • What are the passwords to your social media accounts, bank accounts, hardware devices, and other such items?

Some of the information that you want to leave with your loved ones may be quite personal and rather sensitive. We at FiveTies believe in protecting your privacy and will only share your messages to those you have designated as recipients. Your recipients may range from those whom you share the most personal bonds—such as your next of kin, significant other, and children—to those with whom you share a professional relationship—such as a solicitor or funeral director.
